For as long as I remember and for as long as most people can remember, A Family was defined as a Husband and Wife along with their kids. In the last few years, that fine line of a Husband and Wife being the only form of marriage has been fading. More and more people have been more verbal about their thoughts of legalizing Gay marriage. Originally, it was shut down by many states, but in 2015, the U.S Supreme Court made Gay Marriage Legal in all 50 states. In a few years that came before 2015, roughly 71,000 gay marriages took place in the U.S. From 2015 to the present, over 1 Million Gay marriages have gone about. Traditionally, a Family has kids. Since Gay Marriage couples can't have kids of their own, they're left with the option of adopting kids if they want any.
